ARC has submitted a Development Licence application to EPA Victoria to construct a soil washing and remediation plant at the Site to remediate low level contaminated soil.

ARC is committed to contributing to the circular economy and providing waste producers with a safe, cost-effective and state of the art facility to manage their waste.

ARC intends to partner with industry experts in soil remediation and water treatment to ensure the plant remediates soil to an appropriate standard and to ensure emissions (including noise, dust, odour) are effectively mitigated.

ARC will utilise expert consultants to undertake validation of incoming and treated materials in strict accordance with EPA Victoria requirements. 

Following validation, treated materials will be supplied to the civil construction industry for beneficial reuse on a range of projects.
